Our Access 2019 courses will give learners a comprehensive understanding of Access 2019, including how to design and create an Access database from scratch, and create and work with tables, queries, forms, and reports. We offer Access training for everyone from novices to power users.

Access 2019 ​Part 5

Access 2019 Part 5 consists of modules designed by DJL Training for experienced Access 2019 users who understand statistics and wish to present large amounts of data in quantitative summaries that are simple to understand using Access' descriptive statistics capabilities. In this course, learners will learn how to perform basic tasks using description statistics. 


To ensure success in this course, learners should have completed Access 2019 Part 1, 2, and 3 or have equivalent knowledge and experience.

For advanced Access learners who understand statistics and know how to create a database, queries, forms, and reports, and wish to learn how to perform basic tasks using descriptive statistics. In this expert level module, learners will learn how to determine rank, mode, and median, and pull a random sampling from a dataset.
501B: Advanced Descriptive Statistics II
For advanced Access learners who understand statistics and know how to create a database, queries, forms, and reports, and wish to learn how to perform advanced tasks using descriptive statistics. In this expert level module, learners will learn how to calculate percentile ranking, determine the quartile standing of a record and create a frequency distribution.

System Requirements

Learners' PCs should meet the following requirements: 

  • 2 GB of available hard disk space 
  • SVGA monitor at 1024 × 768 or higher resolution
  • A version of Windows support by Microsoft
  • The latest version of Chrome browser (preferred browser)

Dual Screens

For the best learning experience in our instructor-led training portal, we recommend learners use two screens for training.

  1. On the Remote Lab screen, learners will complete training exercises under the watchful eye of their instructor.
  2. On the Virtual Classroom screen, learners will see and hear their instructor as they follow the instructor's step-by-step directions. The virtual classroom screen can be a big screen in a conference room or a learner's second monitor.

Instructor-led Portal System Check

Our system check will check the readiness of your learners' browser, internet connectivity, screen resolution, microphone and camera. The test link will be provided to you prior to your class.
