Learning Modules

401: Paste Special and Go To Special

For learners who wish to learn how to use the Paste Special and Go To Special commands. In this foundation level module, learners will be introduced to the Paste Special to copy complex items from a Microsoft Excel worksheet and paste them into the same worksheet or another Excel worksheet using only specific attributes of the copied data, or a mathematical operation on the copied data. This module will also cover the Go To Special command to quickly find and select cells that meet specific criteria or contain specific types of data, such as comments, values, formulas, and more.
402: Graphics, Pictures, Clip Art, and SmartArt
For learners who wish to work with ClipArt, SmartArt and other graphic objects in Excel. In this intermediate level module, learners will learn how to locate picture sources and insert photos and clip art on worksheets. Learners will draw shapes using Excel’s large gallery of drawing tools and move, size, rotate, and crop images. Learners will correct photos and apply special effects to images. With SmartArt, learners will create text charts that visually demonstrate a process or relationship.
403: Comments, Track Changes, and Consolidating Worksheets
For learners who wish to learn how to add comments, track changes (in a shared workbook), and consolidate Excel workbooks. In this intermediate level module, learners will learn how to use the comment feature, a useful tool for collaborating with others working on the same document. This module will also cover Excel’s change history tracking feature to avoid and resolve potential conflicts when data is edited by multiple users, and how to summarize and report results from separate worksheets into one workbook.
