101: Getting Started With Visio 2019

For learners who are new users of Microsoft Visio and wish to understand the Visio environment. In this module learners will perform basic tasks in the Visio environment, use backstage commands, and save a file.
102: Working With Workflow Diagram Tools

For learners who understand the Visio environment [101]. In this module learners will use drawing components, modify a drawing, and insert callouts and groups.
103: Building Organization Charts

For learners who know how to use drawing components, modify a drawing, and insert callouts and groups [102]. In this module learners will create an organization chart manually, create organization charts by using starter diagrams and the organization chart wizard, and modify an organization chart.
104: Designing A Floor Plan

For learners who know how to use drawing components, modify a drawing, and insert callouts and groups [102]. In this module learners will make a basic floor plan, and model a room layout.
105: Building A Cross-Functional Flowchart
For learners who know how to use drawing components, modify a drawing, and insert callouts and groups [102]. In this module learners will create a cross-functional flowchart, and format a cross-functional flowchart.
106: Designing A Network Diagram

For learners who know how to use workflow diagram tools, design floor plans and build cross-functional flowcharts [102, 104, 105]. In this module learners will create network diagrams, use shape data, and use layers.
107: Styling A Diagram
For learners who know how to design network diagrams [106]. In this module learners will modify shape and connector styles, apply themes and variants, and use containers.

In our Training Portal, learners access DJL Training laptops for live online hands-on training.

System Requirements

Learners' PCs should meet the following requirements: 

  • 2 GB of available hard disk space 
  • SVGA monitor at 1024 × 768 or higher resolution
  • A version of Windows support by Microsoft
  • The latest version of Chrome browser (preferred browser)

Dual Screens

For the best learning experience in our instructor-led training portal, we recommend learners use two screens for training.

  1. On the Remote Lab screen, learners will complete training exercises under the watchful eye of their instructor.
  2. On the Virtual Classroom screen, learners will see and hear their instructor as they follow the instructor's step-by-step directions. The virtual classroom screen can be a big screen in a conference room or a learner's second monitor.

Instructor-led Portal System Check

Our system check will check the readiness of your learners' browser, internet connectivity, screen resolution, microphone and camera. The test link will be provided to you prior to your class.
